ABOUT
I am an aspiring composer for film and TV with a background of being a singer-songwriter and performer. I am currently studying at WAAPA in composition and recently completed my Grade 4 AMEB Singing Exam. I can play guitar and piano and perform various genres. I enjoy collaborating with other artists in performing and composition settings.
I am inspired by the works of Ludwig Göransson (The Mandalorian, Oppenheimer), John Williams (Harry Potter, Jurassic Park), James Horner (Avatar, Titanic), Hans Zimmer (Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle).
I have worked closely with the City of Kwinana, often performing year-round at different markets and events. I have worked in solo and band settings over the years I’ve performed. Over a 10-year span, I have worked alongside Rochelle’s School of Performing Arts helping with end-of-year concerts, being an MC for events, promoting the business with gigs and more.
Caitlyn is a great singer, songwriter and performer! She is confident, fun, focused, passionate and creative. She has a strong, powerful voice that has an impact on the songs she sings and writes. She is talented at melody writing and works well with others. She is open to new ideas, and understanding in the writing process. She is organised, diligent and committed to excelling in all she does. Caitlyn is amazing and I look forward to hearing all that is to come!
